1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of plumbing, heating and boiler services by WLBC Services Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) to our customers (“you”, “the client”). By booking a service with WLBC Services Ltd, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Quotations and Pricing

  • All quotations are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
  • Quotations are based on the information provided at the time of enquiry. If additional work is required upon inspection, we will notify you before proceeding.
  • All prices are inclusive of labour unless otherwise stated. Parts and materials will be itemised separately where applicable.
  • We reserve the right to amend a quotation if the scope of work changes or if unforeseen complications arise.
  • VAT will be applied where applicable and indicated on your invoice.

3. Booking and Appointments

  • Appointments are confirmed upon receipt of your booking by telephone, WhatsApp or email.
  • We will provide you with an estimated arrival window. Whilst we make every effort to be punctual, arrival times may be subject to change due to traffic, previous job overruns or emergency call-outs.
  • If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice where possible.

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • For larger jobs (e.g. full boiler installations), a deposit may be required prior to commencement of work.
  • We accept payment by bank transfer or card.
  • Late payment may result in interest being applied in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or refuse future services if invoices remain unpaid.

5. Our Responsibilities

  • All work carried out by WLBC Services Ltd will be performed by Gas Safe registered engineers in accordance with current UK regulations, manufacturer specifications and industry best practices.
  • We will provide a Gas Safe Certificate (CP12) and/or Building Control Certificate where required by law or requested by you.
  • We will treat your property with care and respect, and leave the work area clean and tidy upon completion.
  • We carry public liability insurance covering all work undertaken.

6. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your property, existing system and the issue to be resolved.
  • Ensure safe and reasonable access to the work area at the agreed appointment time.
  • Inform us of any known hazards, asbestos, unusual structural features or access restrictions prior to our visit.
  • Not attempt to carry out any related work yourself while our engineer is on site.

7. Warranty and Guarantees

  • All workmanship carried out by WLBC Services Ltd is guaranteed for a period of 12 months from the date of completion, unless otherwise stated.
  • Parts and equipment are covered by the relevant manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty terms vary by product and brand.
  • Warranties are void if the equipment is tampered with, modified or serviced by an unauthorised third party following our installation.
  • Boiler manufacturer warranties (up to 12 years) are subject to annual servicing being carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.

8. Cancellations and Refunds

  • You may cancel a booked appointment without charge by providing at least 24 hours’ notice.
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to £50 to cover the cost of the engineer’s time and travel.
  • Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel a confirmed installation booking within 48 hours of the scheduled date.
  • If we are unable to complete the agreed work through no fault of your own, any deposit paid will be refunded in full.

9. Complaints

  • If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us in the first instance at Info@wlbcservices.co.uk or call 02081253054.
  • We aim to acknowledge all complaints within 2 working days and resolve them within 14 working days.
  • If you remain dissatisfied following our response, you may escalate your complaint to the Gas Safe Register or the relevant alternative dispute resolution body.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the services we provide shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service in question.
  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or economic loss arising from the provision of our services, except where such loss arises from our negligence or breach of contract.
  • Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.


12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version in force at the time of your booking will apply to your contract with us.
